RIP my PC (June 17th, 2007)

Hey everybody,

I have a P4 2.8gh
2gbs RAM
X850XTPE (Just upgraded it (AGP))
2x 36gb SCSI harddrives (1 is over 10 years old, (and just died this morning RIP June 17th) and one that is 8 years old)

I've had over 20 BSODS that i fixed in the past 6 months and 1 fatal BSOD (my stupid HD).
and I formatted 5 times in the past year.

I hate my computer

When and/or if i can afford a new pc it'll be

Intel E6600 Core 2
3-4GB RAM
8800GTX (Price Drop this Q3/4ish
Nvidia Mobo for sure

There's no basis to this thread just showing people how cheap my dad is

Seriously, no offense, but like the above poster said, you're not even paying for it. So why get worked up?

Lol i had to work my ass off for 2 months to afford my computer, and it isnt even as good as the one you want. Get a job.

get a job!!! I have to pay for my PCs. I might be POed if the PC Ipaid for was that bad, and maybe a PC that my whole family uses, but not a PC that my dad got for me.

LOL, not like he'd ever buy any luxury item like that for me:) He's not cheap, he's just trying to teach me that in life, you've got toWORK for what you WANT.

i guess u guys are right 10 yr old hard drives and stuff.. im blessed, (btw i paid for the video card and the 1.5gbs of ram and the 2nd mobo for this pc)

you really shouldn't complain i had to save up my paper round money for six months to buy a low powered computer probably made out of second hand ports with up side down USB ports.

Don't think i'm getting that one in my sig bought for me either that costs me about 9 months of wages
