Holy hell! PCI bus--that is so...owns.
I've seen once of those PCI cards in action. A guy I know has a PCI X1300, and it has trouble even with the standard 2D Windows XP interface. Set the card to run at the panel's native 1680x1050 resolution, and you can see that horrible "redraw effect" whenever you refresh IE or open up a Windows folder. Setting the desktop color depth to 16-bit helps quite a lot.
Paying $160 for a low end GPU coupled to a bus that was introduced in 1992--definitely rip off of the day.

LOL I just got that exact same model for $10 (new). The sad thing is that those salespeople probably convince tons of people to buy this stuff.
Hypothetical question; if you worked for comission at Best Buy, would you actually lie or "stretch the truth" to get other people to buy this stuff?Â
I'd like to say no but people change when money is involved. :PÂ

How are you suppose to "stretch the truth" on a floppy drive?
This floppy drive is made out of the finest plastic available and the eject button is years ahead of it's time. Its well worth the $60, at this price were almost giving it away
