Im guessing you have an interest in an ancient civ RTS? Otherwise, i'd heavily recommend Company of Heroes over both of them.
Still, if its just between the two, i liked Rise of Nations more. Age of Mythology seems a bit more popular online, but i felt it lacked variety. Still felt like Age of Empires 2 with subtle improvements and better graphics. Same reason why i disliked Age of Empires 3. Felt like 8 year-old gameplay wrapped in a shiny coat.
Rise of Nations is a bit ugly, but i find it feels alot more fresh even when compared to other RTS games today.
I can get both but I just want one at the moment. Besides I don't have much free time, so I'd rather play the "better" game.hobbez
I'd recommend the demos then. If time is an issue, you can generally finish matches in Age of Mythology quicker. Some Rise of Nations matches can stretch real long periods of time.
You're right, I do like ancient civ, more specifically greek civ, and I do like RTS. I haven't played Age of Empires 3 though, not that I want to because I heard it doesn't compare to the previous AoE's. I have C&C: Zero Hour, is that like Company of Heroes?Im guessing you have an interest in an ancient civ RTS? Otherwise, i'd heavily recommend Company of Heroes over both of them.
