Risen 2 Dark Waters: Air Temple DLC

I went all the way through the island and into the temple, to the bared doors but they are locked by 2 pedestals that require a special type of idol. I found one on top of a statue inside the temple but I cant seem to find the 2nd one. Can someone point me to its location? Much appreciated!

I've got almost the same problem, but I can't find the altar to open the northen portcullis that contains one of the idols.

Did you go there with Eldric, I didnt (I dont know if its even possible) maybe its some quest related event that could open the gate. The locked gate with the 2nd idol seems to have a lever, I thought it was accessible by monkey but couldnt find a way in. I even summoned steelbeard inside with the hope for him to open the game but he didnt :( I managed to use an exploit to get through the double gates. Went next to the gate, got my monkey out and used him to pick the idol off the pedestal and then quickly put it back again, then took it away again and placed it on the other one, then took it again. Using this both gates remained opened with no idol on each pedestal :D a better explanation (hopefully) starting possition pedestal 1 ------------ pedestal 2 (1) - the idol is here- (0) - no idol (0)-take it away ------ (0) - dont touch here (1) - put it back on --- (0) - still dont touch (0) - take it off --------- (1) - put it here (0) - dont touch ------- (0) - take it off ??? Profit this has to be done very quickly, dont wait for the gates to open or close just keep clicking.

I managed to find a 2nd idol, i found it in a temple of the ancient on the coast where Garcia is. It has to be the same (jade sort of like a bird's beak). After using both of them the double gate opened but the one in the main hall remained closed. I still think it hast to be opened by the lever inside the room but its unreachable. Can a summoned gost pull levers and such?

ok so i've got a quick update for you guys -

You 100% have to get in through the door, there is no "level" around that room, meaning:

i found a camera no-clip option using the console, and when you travel "outside" the walls you can see the whole level

and it kind of floats right? (like every game) so there is no level/corridors/rooms anywhere around that specific room except

the room we are in right now - from which you can see the level infront of you.

how to get in - i have no idea yet.

I figured it out... just use the bone hand LOL I just got it and saw its power :D I gathered all legendary items except one, The Talisman. The journal entry says its located somewhere in Maracai Bay but I turned the place inside out I may have missed it but a pointed to its location would be much appreciated.

found it, its a jaguar paw +10 ritual

Im at the final stage of the main quest now, only 1 side quest remaining. I need the hilt of Stormwind, any ideas?

so odd.. i cant find it there... i went to EVERY TEMPLE and looked in EVERY ROOM

even used the skeleton hand (which help u not miss items cause it has a big "pickup" area for every item..

still nothing.
