Rockstar done with making games for PC?

LA Noire and RDR console only so is rockstar done with making PC games or will they make a PC version too?Any hope of a PC version ?

Max Payne 3 is coming to PC, and it seems like every GTA game eventually gets ported to PC. They're definitely slacking when it comes to PC, but I wouldn't say they're done.

but they published it and its made in the same engine as RDR and GTA4 which is an engine only used by rockstar....

I'm also assuming they set policy.

Sadly, i think that even as a PC gamer you need at least one console :( LA Noire is awesome, and I have it on my xbox, but I would have at least like the option of a PC version

They exist because of PC gamers, so why not stab the pc gamers in the back, when they are not needed anymore?

A game like L.A. Noir should have been on PC as well...PERIOD!

no, they like to go exclusive if they can. However, both sony and microsft wont let rockstar make an exclusive for one console, they both pay whatever it takes.

I'm not convinced there won't be a PC port of LA Noire (unless there's some article I've missed :P ). They certainly are screwing over PC gamers though. It's quite sad. raven_squad

Somehow, I don't think it will be ported. The developers of L.A. Noire is from the creator of The Getaway, which was a Playstation exclusive. He planned L.A. Noire to be a PS3 only game, then ported it on the 360. Probably, he thought it's a console experience.

with the lack of PC titles from them i'm certainly not feeling the love from rockstar. not a huge fan of the max payne series i definetly liked 2 better then 1 so 3 isn't a big thing for me i would rather pay for RDR or LA noire over max payne 3... RDR-PC will be the next game i buy from R* if they don't make it then i don't buy anymore R* games ;) btw i urge people to tell R* how they feel ( mouthoff@rockstar.com ) (their publicly advertised email address) =)

Well after SA I heard Gta 4 is coming.When it came-worse port i have ever played and it disappointed me.Then Rockstar gave RDR which was so good i had to play but no pc version, same for La noire.I am basically saying they don't release PC version and when they do its badly optimized.So do they hate PC?

Great games but i really ain't gonna buy a console for a game.Period.

yea thats right dont but there games that will show rockstar how much you want there games on the pc, and the threat of a boycot probably not to much of worry to them since there not porting many of the games anyway.

also i hope you boycot goes better then the cod boycot thats has being going stron for the last couple of years its nearly put activision out of buisness oh wait nobody actually went through with that did they

They did some hiring for a "next-gen PC title" some few months ago.illmatic87

yet still no news about it. but something tell me that it this ''next gen pc title'' will be la noire because RDR is one year old now so they are not gona make a pc version of it. but they hired pc programer a few months back ... so if it is not a pc version of la noire then what will it be?
