Im looking for a good popular rts game that is active with plenty of members. I have tried out Age of Empires 3 but there werent many players that played it. I heard about starcraft but i dont seem interested in futureistic space situations. I found 2 that may be what im looking for, World in Conflict and Total War series. Which would be the better pick? ( or plz suggest a better RTS)
hardly anyone is on the Total War online lobbies, I can tell you that much. I'm betting even less people on WiC. WC3 is the biggest online RTS right now.
Dawn of War 2 and Empire Total War are both coming out fairly soon, and i'd imagine that both will have a fairly decent following. As of right now, probably WC3 or Company of Heroes. And then of course there's going to be Starcraft 2 later this year which will be huge.
Depends on your computer specs. Company of Heroes has a lot of players online, but its high-ish requirements to make it look good. Starcraft always has players, but you'll get your ass handed to you online because it's a 10-year professional sport in South Korea.
Warcraft 3 is the single greatest RTS game ever made. Combine amazing vs. matches and custom games have given me hundreds possibly thousands of hours of fun. heres to you blizzard.
