RTS Games with REALISTIC Superweapons / Nukes

What is an RTS game with a realistic super weapon?

The original Starcraft Nuke is very poor. It does crap damage. I would call it a rocket, not a nuke. I don't own SC2, but looking at youtube videos it's not much better.

Red Alert 2 had okay nukes. They did well with radioactive ground that lasted for a bit and basically melting infantry. Buildings not so great. Explosion was pretty lame but the game is dated to be fair.

Are there any games where a nuke can totally wipe out a base or hundreds of men? I want to play a fun coop RTS and I know everyone wants to see big explosions wiping out each other.

I was just researching World in Conflict actually. The game reminds me of Company of Heroes. There is no base building though and I love to build bases.

Supreme Commander 1 or 2?

Are the nukes simliar to what I describe? Do they totally wipe out armies and buildings?

Sup Com 1 as someone else mentione, they are in effect just Nuclear missiles (or other weapons like it) It does however do a really wise area of damage, with the potential of making a chain reaction if it hits something valuable and volitile.

In terms of the actual map, Id say It whipes off between 2-20 buildings depending on how well it hits, and possibly 100+ units in one go. It is a pretty powerful weapon, altho some experimental weapons are worse, Ingame I think the nuke is ment to kill off anything in a 2-4 km radius, altho its kinda cheating since even the smallest units are pretty big :P

It has lots of basebuilding too :P And really incredibly big.

I agree to a point.

But I specifically want this for coop. We are just having fun and I love massive obliteration.

I haven't really seen any realistic superweapons anyway.

Maybe in the future, we have the technology to build structures that can survive a nuclear blast, even if they are hevaily damaged...

red alert 3 has some cool stuff kamikaze airplane attacks, emp blasts.. orbital lasers, giant robots i agree are over the top but remember its a future without nuclear energy

warhammer 40k: dawn of war II also has some cool superweapons.. a tank with 12 guns, i gant dinosaur that spits acid and poops corpses.. and who can forget the face only a mother could love

everything.. its a good game and it makes for great times in co-op so does DoWII actualy DoWII is particularly good as it allows for a level of organization that just other games cant do.

Earth 2150 was not a realistic game, but it had good balance and superweapons.

supreme commander. also world in conflict, because it's fun to see the damage it does! but it feels a little small in it, even that it looks good...

i like the experimental units and nukes in SupCom. nice scale of battle.

Generals is okay. I liked the other C&C's better. Generals was the last good game of the entire series.

not a fan non-basebuilding either, but really enjoyed world in conflict, give it a go.

I tried World in Conflict. The game looks stunning, but it's alright.

I don't really like the non base-building.

I also get stomped by computers.

I feel your pain. I have to be one of the biggest RTS fans out there and I'm withdrawling. No good RTS games lately or even at all. I unlike most enjoyed RA3 but I'm dying for some RTS base building goodness.
