I'm looking for a new RTS (as well as SUPCOM, as I'm getting that soon) and I've always liked the conquer the globe game-modes in some titles.
Can anybody recommend an RTS game or two with good global-domination scenerios to it?
Thanks.

I own Universe at War: Earth Assault and I will be getting Kane's Wrath.
Edit: I forgot to mention, I already own Dark Crusade and Soulstorm.

Rise of Nations but it's old. Dawn of War: Soulstorm has a mode similar to that, but it's not Earth.

Oh, I forgot to mention I already own every Dawn of War game. Thanks though.
Rise of Nations, I'll have a look into it. I don't mind how old a game is. If it's fun, I can play it.

I'm really looking for a Real Time Strategy, as I'm not a big fan of games that are completely turn based. (Turn based global domination modes I don't mind, as long as each sector of the map features a real-time battle)

I liked CIV IV but I can see many people not, it's very fun but the turn based and more board game style of gameplay could be a turn off. Try the demo before getting it but if you like it it's a very good game to play.

I may do, so thanks for the suggestion.
Can anybody else recommend Rise of Nations? Also, about the game's Global Domination mode, how customizable is it? Can you change your starting era, or do you have to play from the first era to the last?
Thanks.

I forgot about the Total War games. I own Rome and the GD campaign in that game was pretty good. I'm guessing Mediaval 2: Total War's is similar to that game?

Medieval is much better eye candy and a far superior game to Rome. Don't judge the game by it's demo it's not a true representation of the game as the Campaign is whats worth playing, not the historical battles.

Knowing that i'm spanish,i feel more recognized with the middle ages rather than the roman age,but i assure you that "Medieval 2" is way much better than "Rome".

Here are some other games you might like:

-Knights of Honour

-Imperial Glory

-Lord of the Rings "Battle for Middle Earth"

-Star Wars "Empire at War"

Rise of Nations. It's one of the best RTS games. Get the expansion and it has several "Conquer-The-World/Continent" campaigns. My favorite for sure.

Medieval 2 Total War. It's similar to Rome but it's improved in many areas. And don't forget the expansion pack which is called Medieval 2 Total War Kingdoms.

Rise of Nations was outstanding, there's also Rise of Legends which has a world map,BFME II has a war of the ring mode in which you vie for territories and you can resolve either through rts or auto-resolve. There's also Gal. Civ. II,although that's turn-based.
