While the game Saboteur indicates it can save games when I go back to the game after "saving" it will take me to somewhere before that. Like it is going to a check point sort of. Is this a problem for others? Will the Beta 1.03 patch fix this if it is? Am I doing something wrong about saving a game? I haven't played in weeks because I am discouraged. Constructive advice would be appreciated.

It was like that for me, but I never saw it as a problem. When you quit the game, the next time play, you'll end up at the nearest rebel base. However, if you die in a middle of a mission, you will restart at a checkpoint somewhere in that mission, so you don't necessarily have to go back and redo the mission from the start. Even better, if a mission requires you to, say, blow up 25 structures, the number of structures you blew up gets saved. You just have to physically bring yourself back to that location from the last checkpoint.

Your progress is saved, not your location. You start back in the place where you last entered or exited from.

It has actually gotten worse. Today when I went on Sabateur it started from the beginning. At the strip club. You know the nude dance. I would have to start over. At least before I was starting from getting the dynomite no matter how far beyond that I had went. Another bad game. Snow blind went nuts after awhile. Some programmers shouldn't be programmers. Thanks for your help.

I don't understand why the makers of this game (and others ) don't let you save a game exactly where you left off. It actually turns people off of playing certain games and they don't bother to finish it. Not everyone has the time to play a 2 hour mission to completion so that you can actually progress. I have to pick and choose certain times to play and sometimes I I only have 30 mins so I don't even bother.

It has very clunky mechanics, but playing in black and white is very pretty.
