I have searched google for so long, but after months all I have ever found is fake virus infested crap. Would anyone happen to know of one that works and does not cost 200 bucks .

Thanks!

I use easycleaner (very usefull, but doesn't seem to do all that much for the registry..), RegSeeker and the old RegClean (MS's w95 tool which works fine in XP). All free to download and use.

I also have ERUNT installed, which is a registry back-up tool, but also comes with NTREGOPT (filename) which will optimize (basically defragment) the registry.
