In game its around 60-65, and thats on stock, what kind of temperatures should i not go up to as i plan on OCing it. Also, if i stay within safe ranges, will i still shorten the lifespan of the system?

that temperatures is fine, you won't shorten it if you stay within that range, certain games run gpus hotter like crysis, stay under 80c you will be fine.
