So both game have finally been confirmed this year for the PC, both of them have really nice graphics gameplay and sandbox world.

So both of those games are eye candy, and the question is what game will be better when it comes out?

GTA IV, it has a story, real gameplay, and doesn't need a floosie to sell it in their advertisements

Saints Row is really desperate to make GTA IV look bad but Saints Row always was a lame rip off of GTA IV without any story or worthwhile gameplay.

I loved GTA4 on console and am defintely picking it up for pc. However I was disappointed that it was the shortest lived gta game for myself. It just didn't have much like the previous games. Looking forward to Saints Row 2 much more.

After what I saw from the vids and how they promote the game, definitely GTA 4 (there wasn't a contest in the first place anyway but oh well). Saints Row is more like a freak show, i can't describe it in a better way, sexual content and lots of weird stuff, and other explicit things that might sell the game, it has absolutely no substance. Even tho GTA 4 has some of those, it has a great story, great voice acting and the attention to detail is/was amazing in every GTA game.

personally, GTA4 is already the GOTY 2k8 for me. but i greatly respect Volition Inc as well, so i wouldn't want to undermine the guys' effort with this game.

The only thing Saints Row 2 has going for it is the porn star. lol. And you know a game is going to be bad when it has to resort to a porn star for publicity.
