I tried the demo, and I think these episodes are hilarious and clever.

Anyone know if the retail version is going to be cheaper than downloading all the episodes for 35 bucks?

Thanks.

Sam & Max: Season 1 is coming to retail in August, and its a little cheaper than buying the episodes separately. I think the boxed edition is an even better deal because it comes with all the Season 1 episodes, and a bunch of Sam & Max releated stuff.

I think they just announced season 2 due sometime at the end of the year.

Sam and Max is pretty much a revolutionary concept....its the first succesful episodic game.

In the future...especially if digital distrobution becomes more popular....we will probably be seeing more and more of these.

I think he's talking about episode I, which is an example of how not to do episodic content.
