I would think so, since it does boast it's 25:000:1 contrast ratio, 1080p, superior processing and the automotion plus 120herts technology. However, i was hoping that someone here could answer a few questions, hopefully even someone who has this particular tv. First of all, is this the right TV if you wanted to do a lot of gaming (PS3, possibly 360 soon)? I ask this because i've been doing a bit more research on HDTVs and it seems there are issues behind some of em, such as ghosting, TBE, laggin, etc. Is there any way to reduce that, and does this TV have it (i'm not sure how to check...for the most part my games run well, but some of em are a bit laggy, though i think that's the framerate issue in the game).

Also, for anyone that understands the 120herts technology, that's supposed to be good for games isn't it, as it increases framerate? However, do i turn this option on (medium/high), or do i leave it off? Should i use gamemode or not? This T.V. also has 8ms response time which seems reasonable..

I'm sorry for asking so many questions but i really do hope someone can help me out here.

Yea it's friggin awesome for movies8) I watched 50 First Dates, Night at the Museum and Invincible and they were all so awesome, it looked 3Dish and a lot more realistic. Do you turn yours to medium or high?

How about for games though? Does your TV have a game mode? If so, do you turn it on for games or leave it off? And when playing games, do you turn the automotion plus on or off?

Thanks:)

That still doesn't answer the question though :P !!!!

The most important question i have is this: Do you turn game mode on or not? If you turn it on, it apparently turns off automotion plus off (though i hear that even off, the TV still runs @ 120 herts, but is it as smooth? If you do not use game mode, do you turn automotion on or do you leave it off, and if you turn it on, do you set it @ low, medium, or high?

game mode basically turns OFF features to reduce input lag, so all those fancy features arent really great for precision gaming.

i leave the motion flow on medium. i cant tell a difference while playing a game. movies and tv is were that comes in to play. i dont use the game mode either. to me it makes the tv not as bright.
