I have a choice to either get a Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB or a XFX Geforce 8600GT 256MB. From what i have read on the forums so far the x1950 is a better and faster card, but i have also read that the sapphire model comes with alot of problems like overheating and very picky with what PSU is compatible with it. So what should i buy? and are there any owners of this card that can either confirm or deny these problems? thanks.

The x1950pro. Sure it can run hot but I've never heard of it being picky about psu's.

Once again I've never heard of that problem. I'll look into it and tell you what I find.

edit: Oh if you mean that you need a certain level of psu to use it then yes you do. That's how it works for every card. Just be sure that psu has 30A on the 12v rails.
