hey guys i copied my save game ofgta cuz i needed to format the windows ,,whn i replace it and open the game,,it starts a new game and doesnt open my save game ,,, wht should i do???
if you could email it to me that would be great. It not that i am lazy it's just because i am having problems with the Escuela of the Streets mission. When i start the mission and follow the drug dealer to the warehouse the cut scene won't start so Im sitting behind the drug dealer and nothing happens. I wonder if anyone know how to fix it.
My computer crashed so I had to reinstall windows. I had the saved files but when I use them they don't work. It says error check your hard drive. It's something about the user name (i think). I was on Holland Play don't know how far I was in but I was on the second Island but I didn't do Packys missons so I was doing that when I saved.

Did you check the directory I mentioned earlier in my post?
Yes, but when i put the files in the saved files place, under C:\users\.... it starts a new game, but when I go to load it doesn't work, says check your hard drive. I have looked everywhere for files and for what is wrong but nothing.

I have tried several different save game files, and they all give me a "check hard drive" error. I believe this is because they were made on an earlier/later version. Does anyone have a save game that's about half way through chapter 3? I forgot to backup my saved games when reformatting (I just copied the GTA 4 folder in My Documents, thinking GTA4 saved games the same way GTASA did), and I really don't want to play another 8+ hours of the same missions. Wait, did I say missions? I meant driving across the f***ing map for about 20 seconds of action.

Whats wrong about a big map ?, So You want a little prick map with a lot of action ?.. i dont .. U need to think like its realism mate .. and RockStar games is good at. Greats
Well i got the same problem too.. i have sucessfull installed XLiveWrapper and game starts succesfull, with my orginal savegame in it, but when i download another savegame what ever it is 1% to 99%, it gives a error like File not found @ Hard Drive or something .., i replace the save game to AppDate/RockstarGames/Savefiles blablabla ... i try to replace the downloaded savefile with my orginal Savefile ( sure i make a backup ) and it wont work too .., I'm pretty sure that we are doing something wrong. But i dont see any answers as noobs just telling here to get savefiles .. the dude is not just asking for save files, but he ask how to fix the error too when you try to play with a Downloaded savefile .. PLEASE HELP.
