alright after i successfully installed the game, i've encountered this problem: http://img240.imageshack.us/img240/9564/errorpn7.jpg...which mean i unable to play the game from the start
and here's my computer hardware spec: P4 530 3ghz Visipro 2x512mb PC 4300 Winfast 8800GTS TDH 640mb
your best bet is to go to ubisoft.com and contact them directly. Does your video card have the pixel shaders required for the game to run? Latest video drivers? Sound drivers updated possibly? Run your direct x tests. Open start--run and type dxdiag. Click on display tab and run all the tests. Goodluck.

You need to do both of the above, then it works, I have a 8800gts myself. hmm i dont know anything about shorcut target fix, if you want to told me how to do that it'll be gratefull and yes i have updated all necessary drivers (directx, 97.92, etc)
Make a shortcut, go to properties and add the -ll command in the first line It should look like this: "C:\your directory\Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent\SCDA-Offline\System\SplinterCell4.exe" -ll copy and paste the funny thing at the end
