So I've been looking into getting one of the Supreme Commander games, but after doing a lot of research on both of them...I'm still not entirely sure which to get. I consider myself to be experienced RTS player and, from what I've seen, FA seems to offer the better challenge. The only problem is that most of the forums I found discussing this were made prior to most of the recent patches to SC2, including the Infinite War DLC.

So basically what I'm asking is - is SC2 still inferior to FA even after all of the patches and DLC?

Both are fun games in their own right, but consider this:

Do you like long matches and building huge bases and an economy? Battles on incredibly large scale? Get SupCom 1.

Do you like faster paced combat and less of the economy part? Maybe smaller maps that aren't 80 miles wide? Get SupCom 2.

forged alliance is a good game its jsut that its pace is slower than supreme commander 2's it also doesnt help that imho the experimentals in sup comm 2 are simply winning
