Hi, My new 15" Macbook Pro i7 (54000 rpm HDD) that have 512 vRam - NVIDIA GT 330M 512. What's your recommended install, native (Mac osx) or Win 7 bootcamp? I searched through the internet, there are people who says OS X install is now stable (unlike the beta days) and can utilise the dual vcard feature of this model. Then some says thru bootcamp is still better for the ability to update to the latest driver + overclock. Thoughts from those who have this same laptop?

Install windows 7 through bootcamp. Also I wouldn't advise overclocking that laptop

I dont know if gmaster understood your question. If your wanting to play Starcraft 2 just play i through your native OS if i is supported. It will be playable and I doubt you will see a huge performance increase although I could be dead wrong.

In the case of Bootcamp, both can be considered native. I got SC2 running on Macbook 6,1(9400M, 4GB RAM, 2.2GHz C2D) and it runs fine on everything low except shaders/textures on medium. I use 10.6.3 as in 10.6.4 I was having worse 3D performance.

All Blizzard games are released on Mac. So I would advise to install natively to prevent on any complications.

Sucks that Blizzard made an effort to make the game Mac OSX compatible, but it's still ideal to run the game on bootcamp.
