Sounds like one of the options I had for my pc building assignment at college in England (had a choice of 4 computers to find parts for) but I never picked the one with a unlimited budget. Sorry I don’t know places to look for Australia prices but I hope you do well.

Hey hey, I'm Australian (well at least half, but never mind)!

go here:
www.nintek.com.au

Anyway, I'll build a [recording] PC for ya:

Feel free to change the parts and stuff around. Also, with that workstation, you can upgrade the dual cores to Intel's 5300 Xeon [quad core] sequence CPUs. Put two Xeon 5300's and you've got 8 cores to work with!

XD The big meanie server! XD

Well, if you're gonna be running a recording studio, you'll need reliability. Unfortunately, that means overclocking is out of the picture, but multi core and memory scaling is in.

If you've got even more cash, as I said before, you can go for 2 quad core Xeons or more memory and hard drive space!

Also, all those hard drives will allow you to utilise RAID5 for more data security, so youwon't be losing any important files just in case one drive dies.
