Sometimes you get different resolutions at different refresh rates, see if they don't become available if you chainge the refresh rate.

What kind of monitor do you have? Most monitors are plug and play and usually don't need a driver, but sometimes getting a driver for them will make certain resolutions available.

Yeah and sometimes it doesn't even do that. You might want to give it a shot. You should be able to try and force a resolution within Forceware. I know you can do that in ATI's Catalyst so I'm assuming there is a similiar function with Nvidia. The worst thing that can happen is that the video mode will fail and you'll have to wait 15 seconds for it to reset.

DarkFadi

almost every game has a configuration file where you can put manual res/refresh rate.

and the resolutions you get depend also on what kind of monitor you are using. i guess using native resolution of the monitor gives the best visuals.
