Ok I am running a 80gig (Main harddrive) with a 250gig (used for storage). I have a bunch of games installed on my computer and my friend just introduced me to uTorrent. I have been downloading movies like crazy and I had to take a few things off of my main HD and onto the storage HD. I moved a few games over to the storage HD as well. When I did this I lost my shortcuts for a game I play (Dark Ages of Camelot) so i figured I could just go into the folder and copy shortcut and thats it. When i enter my storage drive if I even hover the mouse over the Mythic icon my computer will freeze for about 20 seconds and for even longer if i keep my mouse over the icon. I thought maybe this folder is too big......but then I looked at my movies folder which has all my family pics/movies/torrent movies and it easily tops 70gigs by itself.......no freezing occurs when i open the folder or hover mouse over it. Is it just me or does this seem a little weird.

BTW the mythic folder is just  under 8 gigs.

EDIT: I was wondering if it would be possible to format my storage drive so it could be the main drive and throw another 250 drive in it and take the 80gig one out? I don't have a Windows OS cd and I really dont want to buy one so could i xfer the info from main drive to the larger one?

Ok, between the movies and the no Windows CD, it sounds like you're doing many illegal things there, so tread lightly. To answer your questions, you can't just move game installations to a new hard drive. When you install a game, it alters your registry to reflect where it is installed. Just cutting/pasting install directories from one HD to another is going to seriously f*** with your system and make it very unstable. You may or may not be able to fix this. Try running a program called Ccleaner (www.ccleaner.com) and choose the fix issues option. That *might* solve some of the registry problems you've created, but there's no guarantee.
The size of the folder does not matter...what matters is the registry values attached to the folder and its contents.
Yes, it would be possible to make your storage drive the main drive by transferring. Just google "hard drive cloning" and that will get you along on your way. However, there's not really any point to doing this unless the bigger drive is faster than the smaller drive. If you choose to install your games to your storage drive when you go through the setup program, then they'll run just fine. The reason you're encountering problems is that you just moved already installed programs to a new space, and the programs aren't happy about it.

thank you so much for your information.......for some reason i thought if i installed a game to the storage drive it would cause the game to be slower (both drives are same speed only difference is size). Now that I know this im gonna uninstall some games on my 80gig and put them onto my other drive. Thank you again for all your help i really appreciate it.
