Hi all, I have just seen a PC for sale (all working) and I am not very good with the tech side of PC's! and wondering if this is a good buy;-

If it's new I wouldn't say it's that overpriced

As for whether it's a good buy, sure, unless you plan to do some real gaming on it

i recommend craigslist. you can find a bunch of sweet deals from desperate ppl :P

It's not bad for £233. In fact, it's quite good.

Bear in mind, American peeps, that the exchange rate from £ to $ doesn't quite equate with PC hardware. Stuff is generally a little more expensive here.

Well I just want to get back to PC gaming I am tired of the Xbox,I don't care too much about super ultra graphics,Just as long games run well on it. I just can't afford a super high end PC.

well for gaming you will need a quad core maybe an AMD phenom x4,4gb ram,and a graphic card atleast 57xx,58xx,67xx,68xx series cards(DDR5).

You'll be able to play games fine on that.

It's not the most up to date system, and you won't be maxing out current games at 1080p or anything, but you'll be able to enjoy a lot of games on modest settings. Games will certainly run at least as well as they do on the 360.

My dual is still fine for gaming ;)

even im using a dual core but since he's getting one now i think a quad core is better choice.why to buy a dual core now and then by a quad.
