Hi! I plan on building a new rig but i can't seem to select a monitor There are 3 options

1. Samsung 940N non-wide screen monitor Resolution 1280X1024

2. Samsung 940BW wide-screen monitor resolution 1440X900

3. Viewsonic VA1912wb wide-screen monitor resolution 1440X900

Now the problem is i want to buy this monitor primarily for gaming and the card that would go with it is 7900gs 256mb if you suggest the 512mb version i would get that one and I cannot buy Radeon X1950 Pro because they are not available where i live and i am also limited to one of the above monitors, is wide-screen suitable for gaming i want to be able to play older games as well how would those games appear on the wide screen monitors and also is there a differnce between PCI Express X 16 and PCI X Sorry for making it long, simply put is wide-screen suitable for gaming

And thanks in advance for anyones help

and the rest of the rig is intel e6750 processor coupled with dg33 board with 2gb 667mhz corsair ram 600watt cooler master extreme power supply 250 gb seagate harddisk and the rest is up to you and once again for your help

PCI express 16x is a video card slot while PCIX are for Tv tuners, sound cards, wireless or lan cards..., there are video card for PCIX slot but are much expensive and slower than for PCI Express 16X
