I am looking at making a system with a 9800gtx, 2gb ddr2 800, and the q6600. I need a new mobo but can only spend 100. I don't need SLI capable since I can't afford another gpu. What would you guys suggest? I have been looking at a 680i board. Please let me know and if you have any specific suggestions please link them to me (newegg).

Thank you

I want to spend no less than 500. i already have everything needed except for what I listed above. I will actually need to get a PSU though but that's no biggie.

You'll need a good PSU for that build, like a Corsair TX-650W.

If your not going to sli, then stay away from nvidia chipsets , I suggest that you buy a motherboard with an intel chipset they are far more stable and overclock easier, the Gigabyte mobo mentioned above should do the trick, also I found this p45 foxconn....btw you won't find any 680i less than 150$ at new egg.

Very fast board for only $99. Biostar is also a lot better than people them credit.

You should be getting an HD 4850 over that 9800GTX, as it's cheaper and performs better.

The HD4850 is better than the 9800gtx but is it better than the 9800gtx+ which uses the 55nm chips and has an increased clock speed.
