What headphones to get at $100-150 range, I can reach close to 200 if the deal is good. Im already amped with fiio e7/e9 and soundcard so thats taken care of.

Im selling my pro700mk2, Im tired of it :P bassy but too the headphones dont thump quick enough to the fast beating songs as much as I like it the cons sometimes outweight the pros. Im looking at the hfi 580, 680, 780, and pro 550 but of course any others are open to suggestions. I want a decent soundstage for closed headphones, yet I dont want open cans I feel though my brain cant take the sound signature shock of them.

I mainly listen to kpop, jpop, jrock, r&b, hip hop, ballad, some rock, mainstream, etc. Oh yeah your welcome to suggest some good music that fits with flac.

What you're asking for is the Audio Technica ATH-M50, but you already own a very close model. Still, it's worth an audition. Outside your budget is the V-Moda M-80, which is an on-ear but meets a lot of your criteria, and alternatively the over-ear, closed-back Beyerdynamic DT770. But what you really want is the Denon AH-D2000. That's way outside your budget, but it fits every criteria. Good luck, Boz
