Orange Box... Team Fortress 2 has a very satisfying multiplayer... and then there is episode 2, and portals.. Then if you havnt played HL2 and EPisode 1, its a must buy.

I know that Bioshock has a demo out for PC, try it out and see if you like it.

I say do the same with Halo 3 (I thought there was a demo out you can download off of Xbox Live, but I could be mistaken) if you can and see if you like it.

Sadly, I'd say get your hands on Halo 3 because Bioshock was kind of a let down. It was fun at the start, but slowly grew boring and they story was a big let down for me once I just about got to the end....oh, and the endings, in my opinion, were not very good. They were kind of vauge and unthrilling and not really worth watching.

I don't do Xbox 360 and I haven't done anything with consoles since I purchased Ocean Star on PS2 when that game came out....very good game, but that was the last game I bought for consoles. I strictly do PC now and leave the consoles to my little brother.

So, go for Halo 3....because it can't be any worse then Halo 2. And if Halo 3 is worse then the second one.....the world will literally crumble and turn to dust!

yeah if you can wait till october 10th, the orange box is the best value package i have seen in a long while. You get 5 "great" games (2 we can already confirm) and with all that stuff, your guaranted 25 hours+ without even touching tf2.

BioShock provides the better single player experience, while Halo 3 is the only one with robust multiplayer out of the two.

I would honestly say either get BioShock now....or....as others have suggested, save your money for Half Life 2: Orange Box which will literally provide the most value out of any game coming this Fall.

Halo3 probably has more replay value, but Bioshock is still a much better game while it lasts.

Out of those two definitely Halo 3. Bioshock isn't wortha purchase imo. I would just rent that on Xbox.

because thats not what valve wants you to do. they want you to waste your money. but if your a fan, portal and ep.2 cant be missed. and tf2 is pretty spiffy aswell.

Halo 3 has multiplayer, so you'd probably get the most value out of that game.

Wow dude that has to be the biggest douchebag comment ive seen ive bought and played through the Bioshock game 4 times and if I started it up again it would be fun it has limitless things you can do while playing through the game and the singleplayer is far from short id say Bioshock.

It's called an opinion!! It's a lot more fun playing coop with friends than a single player game unless one has no friends.

Well I say either save your money and wait for something next month or if you dont have it get either Stalker or World in Conflict. Both of these games kills Halo 3 and Bioshock.

I would guess both games last about the same, but Halo 3 would be the best bet. Its single player campaign is just more fun and it has tons of multiplayer content. Bioshock is a good game but it never deserved the scores it got. As for Halo 3, it probably doesn't deserve the praise it gets, but with Halo you know what you get, and that's quality.

Like some ppl said i would get TF2 that game looks amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldnt get halo 3... it is the same shiet as halo 2 and 1 but with prettier graphics not a fan of sequels... sequels are stupid..

Or get bioshock insta classic

But thats me i care about innovation, about the story, gameplay etc not about repeating the same thing with prettier graphics

Wait 2 weeks and buy the Orange Box for PC :P .....Otherwise, you're doing yourself a great disservice by not playing Bioshock. Halo 3 is nothing groundbreaking and it's just more of the same with an extremely short single player. Unless you enjoy Halo online tremendously, go with Bioshock. I'm still scratching my head as to why people think Halo is the next coming of Christ....

Bioshock is definatley a blast to play on your first run. It took me a good 30 hours to finish the whole game and get the good ending. But after that, I never really felt that spark again. I'm trying to go for the bad ending, but I stopped 1/4 through and went back to Valve (DoD:S, CS:S etc.) games and Company of Heroes. Personally, I regret not renting Bioshock instead for the 360.

If you have Xbox Live, go for Halo3. If you don't, I would recommend the Orange Box as many other people have stated.

Like someone else said, if you're gonna play the multiplayer, get Halo 3. Can get a lot more play time out of that. Otherwise, go for the Shocker.

there you go- why cant the rest of you just say what you think rather than bagging people out about what they say or at least give your 'opinion' on that what they say is incorrect. a forum should be for sharing ideas not just calling someone else an idiot because they dont think the sam way as you. if what they state as what they think is true but isnt, just tell them that you know they are wrong but dont go overboard and start ranting on about it
