Every time I see a sale for tf2 there is a wave of people asking if it's worth it or not. In my opinion it is the most fun you can have from a recent mp shooter. If you don't have it yet GO BUY IT.

100% agree. There should be no excuses at all. it goes on sale ALLL THE TIME. It can run on almost any rig, and its the most fun game on the planet.
GET IT NOWWWWWW
im still on the fence about buying it. i already own for my 360 and have loads of fun with it. but i think it would be well worth it buying it again for pc with all the cool stuff it has. But im a little concerned with not being good enough to compete in the 360 version i'm probably a little better than average. but since i don't play pc shooters often i think i might just go into a game and get toasted.
Tried the free weekend demo several months back. Played for about 2 hours then deleted it. Yet another pointless, close-in, circle strafing, bunny-hopping twitchfest that brings nothing new to the table other than childish artwork.

Yup nothing new to the table is what TF2 is all about:?
And to the enxt guy tf2 on xbox and pc dont compare at all. Just try the pc version. With the engie update its better than ever.
And im not a great FPS player by eny stretch but I do pretty well in Tf2. The classes completely change the game
so you can find something youre really good at.
*looks at ratings* Half Life 2, 6.5.. Dead Space, 1.0... I'm thinking you're just hard to please. :PTried the free weekend demo several months back. Played for about 2 hours then deleted it. General_XAt first the picture didn't show so I was like 'WTF, maybe a few people actually think this...' :P
[QUOTE="UCF_Knight"]Yeah it's my favorite online shooter.. I think this is old news to everyone on this forum though. :Phkhatir
yes, i dont think i have heard of a pc gamer who doesn have this game if they have a rig capable of playing it
Well now you have. I don't play too many PC games unless they're the good ones that are only like $5 or so (on sale, that is).[QUOTE="hkhatir"][QUOTE="UCF_Knight"]Yeah it's my favorite online shooter.. I think this is old news to everyone on this forum though. :Ptjoeb123

Agreed again. Since release I've put in an impressive 2 hours. I found the bottom of the gene pool when I played it, though the majority of gamers seem to find decent people to play with.
But in the case of a sale it probably is a worthwhile purchase for someone.

I know its a good game (i have played it some when i was at my friends place). But im not a fps gamer. If i do play fps i jump around (if you can) for a while and then quit. RPG / RTS / TBS is the way to go ya?
I have the game its fun in small doses, it would probably more fun for me if I had people to play with. But yeah ever PC gamer whether they like it or not has a copy of TF2 because its so cheap.
