Your card doesn't support the shader version in the game...

I think it's 3

What kind of video card are you using?

If you don't know, then click your Start button, click Run, and in the prompt type in DXDIAG. In the new menu that loads, click the Display tab. in in the box that's labled 'Device' you should seed the Name of the video card or controller you're using. Its likely that you don't have a video card at all, or you have a very old video card that doesn't support pixel shaders, which is required to run many modern games like Lost Planet.

It basically is a way of saying your graphics card is too old and dated.

Your card is based on Shader pixel 2 while the game REQUIRES version 3.
