Shadow problems

I just noticed a problem with my shadows playin 2142. The edges are all blocky, doesn't look good at all. Not smooth, just blocky.

System is windows vista, 2900xt Catalyst 7.9, e6300. What could be the problem?

thats just how the game is. I would probably play itif it didnt have those crappy shadows :|

yea, all my settings are maxed, except for AA which is at 2x

Driver maybe?? Have you tried any other driver then 7.9??? Did it happen before?

Running the latest version of BF2142? I believe it is still 1.4 beta? But I'm running the one before that (1.25) and I don't experience this problem..
