Ok for a while i have been lookin for a good lcd hdtv and i saw this sharp aquos 32" 1080p for like $1399.99. Ive been wanting an hdtv since i got my 360 and since i have cable with free hd channels i wasnt sure of which one. The sharp seems really good but its kinda too pricy for me. So i looked for cheaper prices and i found a westinghouse 32" lcd hdtv 720p for $600. So i was wonderin if there was a huge difference between 720p and 1080p? I really like the sharp but its kinda pricy for me. Which one would you guys suggest and if theres a place that sells the sharp for a lower price.
At normal viewing distances, the improvement of 1080p over 720p is not really noticeable until you're up in the 40"s to 50"s range. So unless you're also using this aquos as a monitor on your desk, and you're viewing it from a foot or two away, it's not worth it.
I was looking at the very same SHARP AQUOS 32 inch 1080p set myself, only I saw it for $1100. I've heard that HDsets are going to experience a big drop this holiday season, so wait a few months for those big One Day holiday sales!
