Hi has anyone heard anything about shattered horizons? I've just seen it come on steam for pre purchase?

Is there any big hype for this game? Is anyone going to get?

gamespot didnt hype it at all even though its g round breaking game. its the first game for vista and 7 only, its looking to be a new crysis in terms of system demand, its a zero gravity fps and finally its coming soon (november 17th) for 20 bucks i say that reason to celebrate.

The video of it that I saw (on gametrailers I think) looked pretty rough. I mean, the graphics are obviously the focus in this game. That's the whole point of the move to Vista/7 is for the DX features. Also, keep in mind that the "studio" making the game is basically a company we know only for making benchmarking software (3dMark) up to this point. To say whether or not this game will be decent is a shot in the dark.

I don't expect good sales with dx10 only the min spec. Not to mention I heard it runs pretty poorly on decent systems.

I played the beta for a short time. It didn't look like a game I would spend $20 on. Then again, it was only the BETA. I haven't really looked at anything about it in a month or two so it may have gotten better. VERY limited weapons....or should I say weapon. One gun, three grenade modes, and I think single and burst bullet modes. Kinda boring to me.

Futuremark doesn't make games they make benchmarks and this is just their first interactive benchmark that they advertised as a game.

The main reason why the requirements are so high, it probably has settings that would crush even an GTX295, but that doesn't really mean it's a great "game".
