seems like something that would be great fun for awhile, I guess its worth trying now.

I own it and don't have it installed... last time I played it there was only 1 server in my region. I decided I liked the extra space on my hard drive more.
Requirements are pretty steep. I can run it, but without all the visuals, it's just an anti-gravity Counter-Strike.RheorinDisagree with you on that... its no counterstrike :)
How demanding is this game compared to lets say ... Crysis? SAGE_OF_FIREDon't use AA and it'll be easy on the GPU. The only game that actually uses DX 10, which as advertised looks better and performs better than DX 9. It's a superb game for its extremely low requirements.

If I can run Crysis at like 30fps average, what do you think I'll run this at?[QUOTE="SAGE_OF_FIRE"]How demanding is this game compared to lets say ... Crysis? DanielDust
Maxed out, blur on medium, at 1680x1050 and 2xAA Crysis (after the patches) ran at about minimum 20 frames on my PC (8800GT, Q6600 and 4 gb of RAM) and Shattered Horizon maxed out except shadows that was on balance at 1680x1050 no AA ran at around 55 frames on average, minimum was around 40 and imo it looks just as good as Crysis, even better (but Crysis still has an edge because of the water :P) so you shouldn't have any problems, but there were quite a few issues with it, players with great graphics cards complained about bad performance at lower settings than what I played on.
The one thing stopping me from buying the game was lack of weapons, so if the new weapons are awesome then I gotta buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like it better now. Bunch of new weapons, althouth I still only use the assault rifle. The extra grenades make it more fun as well. The one thing stopping me from buying the game was lack of weapons, so if the new weapons are awesome then I gotta buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow I actually can run it, through I think I can't go any higher than low settings, so the graphics looks pretty rough in some places.:P The game itself seems to be good through. I like this being in space. It makes this game feel more fresh then many FPS out there these days. I just need to get used to the controls through. I probably get the game if I like it alot.
Edit: Actually I seem to be on Medium settings with some things turn off. I probably mess around with the options, through I should probably avoid adding AA.

It's about as demanding as Crysis give or take a little. My laptop can actually run Crysis better than it can SH (specs are 2.26GHz centrino 2, 4GB RAM, 9800m GTS). My desktop, on the other hand, can run SH better than it can Crysis (specs for it are i7 930 @ 4.01GHz, 6GB RAM, HD5970).
Its worth buying now... they halfed the price of the game this weekend also, and it is easily worth the 10 dollars... it is a shame that more people haven't bought it. 20 dollars is a great price as well.seems like something that would be great fun for awhile, I guess its worth trying now.
