Shivering Isles - Mania or Dementia?

So...

If you own Shivering Isles then you know about the split between two different types of insanity/madness on the island.

Which is better Mania or Dementia. Eventually you have to pick one side over the other there aren't too many differences for which you pick except the people will appreciate you better mostly in either Crucible (Dementia) or Bliss (Mania).

They say the Maniacs are the creative artistically insane, very much Louis Carroll without the cheshire cat. But I never thought they were very interesting. I like their landscaping/environment better. But what do you think makes them better than Dementia?

Dementia is the land of the paranoid(ly) insane. The murderous, scandolous bunch. They gossip, bicker and all in all seem to have more drama going down. Nevertheless, a better name than Mania. Is their gothic flair though enough to make them worthy?

I chose Mania, Even though the quest for the leader was ridiculously harder and longer than the Dementia. I liked their side quests more however. And It was funnier, unlike dementia which is more just gloomy and creepy.

All the sidequests that I did for them ended up being the ones where you had to find a bed for that guy to sleep so a wall wouldn't fall on him? And it was so easy...

Dementia's streetlife I liked better too. Like at night they had some kind of dueling club on the rooftops?

I should of done more with Mania but did they have stuff like that too?
