Should I buy A PS3 or stay with my old xbox 360?

IM INTERESTED IN BUYING A PS3 BUT NOT TO SURE. I CURRENTLY HAVE AN XBOX 360(20 GB) WHICH ALREADY GOT SENT BACK TO MICROSOFT DUE TO THE RED RING OF DEATH WAITING FOR IT TO GET BACK TO ME SUCKED. BUT I LIKE THE ONLINE COMMUNITY THAT XBOX HAS IS THE PS3 ONLINE COMMUNITY AS GOOD AS XBOX? ARE THE GRAPHICS BETTER THAN XBOX 360 MY HDTV BROADCAST 1080P(GO SHARP AQUOS 64 SERIES NOT THAT CHEAP 62 SERIES) MONEY ISNT A ISSUE CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME MAKE A CHOICE?

But seriously, no the PS3 online community is not as good as the Xbox. Graphics are more or less the same. I say just stick with your 360.

PS3 online community currently is smaller, but is expanding rapidly and i don't think anyone will disagree when i say the PS3 online community is generally a lot maturer than that of the 360. PS3/360 graphics are currently equal but again, as i'm sure people will agree the 360 has, or nearly has reached it's potential while the PS3 is just getting started. Also, i know many people who have had the red ring of death multiple times so, in my opinion, you should get a PS3, praps get your 360 back, trade it in and get a 40gb PS3 model to save money?

I have to disagree that the 360 has or nearly has reached its potential, that's purely your opinion.

I'm biased towards the 360 because I know people who have both, but have nothing they really enjoy playing on the PS3 right now. Better games will probably come out for the PS3 in the future, but for right now, I wouldn't buy a PS3.

I think the PS3 in the future would be better than the xbox 360 just because of more room since it uses blu-ray technology and 360 is still using dvd format. Does anyone know how does the psn home works?dome0715

I own both and I say stick with 360 for now... the PS3 is not as much fun because there are only a handful of games while the 360 has an entire library of good titles... my PS3 just sits around until I want to watch a BD movie... while on the other hand I am on my 360 during most of my spare time...
