I love CSS I never played DoD that much but what I have I enjoyed some what. I'm just wondering if it's worth it or should I save my 10 dollars? I just watched the video review here on gamespot and it does look entertaining.

I just have one question though. How many maps are there besides custom ones?

I liked the game, it's more realistic then CS, though (ie no jumping while sniping). and I'm not quite sure which maps are non-custom, but there should be at least half a dozen, I would think.

Yeah for $10 its worth it, it has a big fanbase although not as big as CSS, you will find yourself spending many hours playing this

They're in the middle of a big update, which is in open beta stage, for DoD: Source. They've fixed a lot of bugs, introduced some new features (like Nemesis/Revenge and Freeze Cam) and are migrating the game into the new Orange Box engine, so the graphics and some effects have also been spruced up a little.

If you do buy it right now, download the Beta and play that instead, as as soon as they're done with the Beta, it will obviously replace the current version.

I was just about to ask this question. I already installed DoD: Source and I saw there was a beta where you can unlock achievments. I should install that one sounds cooler in a lot of ways!
