I enjoyed both a lot. The first was one of my favorite games released that year. Awesome mix of Zelda and God of War, but with a few tricks of it's own and a really awesome art style. the second is also really fun, but I kind of prefer the first. It has improvements...for instance it's a longer game, has a new random item system, rpg-ish skill system, more open world to explore, all with the same great game play. But...they didn't make it feel quite as epic. Most of the dungeons and puzzles are not as well designed as the first game.  Also felt the story wasn't as cool, either.  Because they expanded the scope of the game, they had to cut back in other areas I guess.

Regardless, both great games IMO and well worth that price.

I would if you really like the hack n slash games. The only problem with the second one is that it is a bit short. Never played the first one, so cant tell you anything about that. So IMO, just get both

I thought the first game was super lame and boring. Very repetitive and combat was uninteresting. Some of the weapons you could use, handled really poorly. Story-wise it was interesting and graphically it was appealing. Some of the missions were just plain stupid-especially the trials of kill 'x' amount of enemies in 'y' amount of time. Backtracking around also added to the annoying/boring aspect.

I adored the first game. It's like the Legend of Zelda for adults. It also runs beautifully in 3D, if that's of any interest to you.
