Now, I'm wondering if I must dl my XFX Geforce 8800 GTX-drivers from XFXforce.com or if the newest drivers there is the same as on the NVIDIA site.

This is my current drivers: 7.15.0011.6925

I THINK they are old but I am uncertain and are now asking for help/advice. Where should i DL from?

Thx in advance /// Heavy.

Xfx just takes it from Nvidia, so to get the most updated get the nvidia drivers.

I don't know what the latest version is, you can check that easily enough on nvidia's site. But if you installed the drivers that came on the disk with the card, then I'll guarantee you they're old.

The computer will usually tell you if you are installing older drivers, yes.

Newest drivers (175.16) just got released last week. And they're WHQL-certified, so they're Vista-safe.

I always get mine from Nvidia since the graphics card manufacturers don't always update theirs very often.
