i don't think you should be wasting budget for a less than stellar gfx card. my advice is stall your plan for both and save money for at least a 8800gt. :)

The 8500GT is not a good card. The least you'd want is something like a 9600GT. You don't want to buy Grid before you upgrade your card because the 6200 sucks, but you don't want to upgrade to the 8500, either.

Buy an 8600, because an 8500 isn't that good. On a 6200 you will have no chance to play Grid at a decent framerate, not even on the lowest settings.

There's also a Radeon 4850, $180 and is currently the best medium priced card on the market.

Better off save up money for the 8600gt or 8800gt, bro..... might as well get 8800gt on sell prices.

ya if you are really pinching pennies buy an 8600GT off of newegg or ncix.com or something (NOT FROM A STORE LIKE BEST BUY!!!!!!!)

if you actually want a decent card and don't mind spending 150.00 go for an 8800GT or 9600GT if you want to spend a bit more than that ATI 4850 is great.

Can you list you CPU and how much memory you have? It would be important to list them for people to give you a better answer.
