Dont bother. Unless you raid 25 man content its all a wash anyway.

Nothing to do except take part in vomit inducing grinds for gear that is 2 item points better than what you already have. Next to no new content while raiders get encounter after encounter with large story characters for free epics from fights they dont even have to figure out on their own due to faqs and videos.

Yes, i'm getting back into it soon after taking a 4 month break. With the new patch leveling 20-60 is much easier they say and leveling 60-70 wasn't hard at all. They also released a new 10 man instance which seems really cool. I'm not going to get back into as much as I was before tho.

If you have any experience raiding, you should know the difficulty isn't in creating a strategy(as you pointed at can see what other guilds do) but it lies in picking a strategy you like and excuting it flawlessly which can be pretty difficult depending on your group. I know in my Karazhan days 1 idiot could screw everything up, my cryptstalker pieces definitely weren't free epics, it took many days of wiping to get it. How much raiding experience did you have in WoW?

Don't waste your time, WoW has become so terrible and ridiculously watered down with how easy its become to get gear. Only now you get to see your gear become obsolete every 3 months.

No, thats only if youre stupid enough to think that the whole point of WoW is to get to the level cap, then get the best gear.

My fellow gamers, there is a great misunderstanding about WoW, and it is that people think its a game to be beaten; IT IS NOT MEANT TO BE BEATEN! Its about the journey, not the destination.

So yes, get back into WoW. Try a different class, race, and faction and do it all over again. And take your time. Join a nice, socially-adpet guild that makes jokes and talks BS and is nice.

And most of all, dont grind, and dont rush. Just relax, grab a beer, and enjoy an hour or two of WoW a day. Get your friend back on too, thats makes even better. Thats how I stay in touch with my old college buddy.

You have both a PS3 and a 360 and you want to get back in to WoW? No, man, this is an amazing season for gaming. Don't let WoW suck up all your game time; just don't do it.

I just renewed my subscription. I needed a MMO fix, and it was the cheapest available option =P I do not regret it. (I can actually control my playtime now, too, w00t.)

it will be a pain in the butt to level up again, because blizzard don't care about making leveling something fun, they keep adding levels and making the only new content for max level ... it's not worth it

I think you missed the point of MMOs, you keep progressing there is now "I beat the game" in WoW, if there was then there would be no reason for anybody to keep playing.

@wazaa- Blizzard in the latest patch actually made it easier to level 20-60 and added new content in Dustwallow Marsh(if I can remember correctly around a 35-40 zone). Please know what you are talking about because you clearly dont.

No its really all about copying the ONE strat that EVERYBODY uses and then having 25 people who arent completely retarded. After you read up and do it once correctly everyone that was there can do it every week while partially afk.

Raiding isnt and never was hard in the least. Ive been clearing BT and Hyjal for 2 months and we are starting to bring the alts we have who have managed to get attuned.

Archimonde...every week with 1/2 alts and illidan every week with 1/2 alts. Not hard. At all. Get over it.

It's all about the Epics! All jokes aside BC is pretty decent compare to the excellence of pre-bc but nevertheless it's still a great game to have installed on your PC. I just got back on WoW myself so time to finish up getting them Epics.8)

I can't understand why anyone would get into WOW. Would you watch a movie that never ended or a read a book that never stopped? Conclusions in entertainment are a good thing, people. An endless time-sink is good for company profits.

I hate endings, tbh :( Maybe that's why I love MMOs ;D

Kind of diverging here, but one of the things that I hate about novels is that you know exactly when the end is coming. :P

Of course when you got a boss on farm status it is easy but when you face new encounters your guild picks it up on the first day?

Im in the same dilema. After playing for 2 straight years I took a 3 month break of wow and i feel great. A friend did the same, but he is back and watching him play makes me kinda sick. he sits there and plays all the day to lvlup faster. We were starting bt and hyjal. But it was with a new guild, the hardcore type where they treat you like crap. Anyways great games are coming. WoW is a timesink and youll regret it if you go back. IMO but really thats your choice.

Of course when you got a boss on farm status it is easy but when you face new encounters your guild picks it up on the first day?

The only boss we were on more than 1 day was Vashj back when she would bug out and instantly respawn or the adds would keep spawning after she died.

Thanks to the internet and idiotproof strats raiding is no longer even remotely hard.
