Hello. Civilization V is on sale on Steam right now, and I am not sure if I should get it or not. Also, if you think I should get it, is the DLC (especially Gods and Kings) worth it?
Thanks.

Really good advice. Age of Mythology was one of the first games I played on PC, and have played games similar since. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten the chance to try Starcraft II yet, but it seems a lot more like Age of Mythology/Empires (RTS) than Civilization (turn based).
Thanks!
Sounds like WoW in city building form in terms of addictiveness. The development side of games like that can be great fun and the Civ series seems to be one of the best.
So, yes I think it's worth it.
If you like slower paced turn based strategy games then get it. Even a quick match is going to last most of a day but it's worth it imo. You have to think in the long term rather than simply building as many units as possible as fast as possble and rushing your enemy.
I bought the GOTY right away it came to be available for cheap. So far it's been the best purchase I've had on this years' Summer Camp.Hello. Summer Camp? Are you camping outside Valve HQ? Are you at a summer camp and sneaking some video games in? Are you at a summer camp for PC gamers?
