Hey guys, is Diablo 3 a buy or a pass right now?

I say buy. I was a day one buyer and have no regrets. I came to the forums to address a common complaint I've been seeing. People say the game is to short. Well, I'm 66 Hours 52 Minutes into my Lvl 50 Wizard and just started Hell difficulty so I still have 2 play throughs to go. Thats just with this guy. I would call that short by no means.
As a player of Diablo (1) and a day one buyer of Diablo II and LoD I have no regrets with D3. There will be some minor annoyances if your an old fart like me that likes his isometric sprites and oldschool games in general, but the game is just awesome fun.
The only thing I really can't forgive Blizzard for is the online only aspect. I suffer 220-350 ping all the time from the low to high end depending on the time of day. And should B-Net lag, you lag. There has been a roll back that affected me once and a few server crashes. But being a Blizzard title I have the utmost faith in this and any other problems being worked out. D2 got patches for 10 years
If you dont think an always online system devalues a game all that much; especially for a game that lacks persistent face-to-face lobbies and trading. Then, yes, It's definitely 'worth' a buy.
Diablo 3 and guild wars 2 are the best MMOrpg games of this year though guild war 2 not yet release but worth buying awesome games from awesome dev and after all yoou can play them for years without getting bore , have fun and yes get it without thinking so much !!!!

Diablo 3 is not an MMO.
[QUOTE="whitey_rolls"] price will never drop .... just buy it now.greensthooliganThis is probably some what true. Blizz game (although sometimes not the expansions) do not usually drop in price that much until a new entry into that franchise is announced.
Starcraft 2 is still the price of a brand new game and it was released 3 years ago. So yeah don't expect a price drop guys
