Hey guys

I've already played Rome Total War extensively. I once borrow Medieval 2 off a friend, and I only played it for a bit but it felt like Rome.

The gold edition is currently $10 (AUD). I know it's cheap, but i'd rather spend more on a game I would play more (i've played Romea lot now, and have let it on the shelf)

I would say yes if you liked RTW. MTW2 is larger in scope and will probably last you longer :)

Definately. M2TW is far superior, especially when you get some of the kick-ass mods!

Medieval total war 2 is a great game. If you liked Rome total war you will definitely like it and with the kingdoms expansion pack it increases the scope of the game immensely. At $10 (AUD) its a great deal. I would get it and enjoy.

If you don't mind paying 30-40$ more then buy Empire:Total War.

Oh, M2TW is much better than Empire, by the way. Best to wait until Empire is patched and cheaper to buy it.

If you like Rome, play that. If you wanna go further get Medieval 2.

Until Empire total war gets fully debugged and meets its potential, Medieval 2 will reign king as the overall best Total War experience. If you weigh the features, Empire is better, but for overall playability and stability, Medieval II wins. I say go for it.

Thanks I'll try it out

BTW, if any of you guys have Rome, try Napoleonic Total War

It's just for custom battles, but i'm sure that this mod revealed the potential the series had for a game based in the 18th and 19th centuries (i.e. Empire)
