I tried to play online in February, no one was online. When I checked there were about seven servers, the populated ones required a a password to access, the other servers were empty. I'm not impressed with the game as I was expecting a tactical Rainbow six game like its predecessors. Vegas2 is basically going from point A to B with little choice/decision in between. The cover system is nice and the game gets a little more interesting if you use your team mates properly. Overall it isn't a game I'll finish and even after buying it on sale I feel ripped off.

The multiplayer is dead, and even when it was alive it was broken. A little tip, if you are looking for online games avoid anything developed by Ubisoft. They do not know how to code online games.

Yeah, the only choice we could make was whether to enter a room from Door 1 or Door 2. It was a pathetic excuse of a tactical shooter.

Most servers will have that, I believe, especially if it's a clan server and such. But try to play on servers closest to your location because pings can spike like crazy sometimes.

Multiplayer is death and only get the game if you can get it for $10 or less (the campaign is ok).

You should get it only if you like cod and gears of war for singleplayer. Expect no good story and the mp is dead Awesome game though.

The game is very good, I spent like 40 hours or more in it. Gunplay is satisfying, and story is not surprising, I usually like David Michaels' stories, but this one was just meh, this game ain't tactical, at all, it's a cover based shooter, but the cover system is pretty well done, and you'll end up using it a lot, it's pretty hard to be using iron sights, online is pretty much dead, but it's worth for the single player, I found myself playing Terrorist Hunt a lot to unlock weapons and camos. Get it.

If you can get it for dirt cheap, why not. I enjoyed the single player player but like most people said, no one plays online anymore. I think Knight Discounts has it for like 5 bucks or something.

R6 is like 10 bucks

BC2 is 50

Granted, BC2 is a whoooooooole lotta fun, but Vegas 2 is definately worth it.

As for the "PC version" getting a bashing, I really did not have any problems with it. Online is fun, if you can find someone to play with.

it's a mediocre game, the story ain't as good as the first one, it's simply not as fresh as the first one, gamplay wise

dead multiplayer, and the story is fun, but the combat strikes a nice balance between run and gun and tactical approaches.

If it's cheap, it's worth it for the co-op terrorist hunt mode. There's also a butt load of character customization in it, which I loved.

If you lilked the first, you will like the second. I played only the campaign in both, and I thought they were nearly identical, except with different set pieces. Also very short, like the first. Definitely worth a bargain bin price.

Don't bother, especially if you like to play MP games. The only (maybe second) patch broke the game worse than what it was when first release and they included a fix from Reloaded (this was big news when it happened too and they tried to cover it up). Ubi's lack of support really hurt the R6 franchise, not to mention the dumbing down of it.
