You should read reviews or watch some Youtube video reviews. It's a "clawer" type of mouse, made for smaller hands as well. If you're more of a palm-rest type of gamer with larger hands, I would recommend something like Razer Deathadder. People game differently. Logitech's mouse are of great quality and you shouldn't be worried about buying one. For $50, it's a good deal.

I have a G9x and one of the great things about it is the customisation. Mine came with a few grips - one is a small lightweight one with a "dry grip" feel to it - intended for a small hand or claw grip. the other was a much larger grip that allows you to rest your palm on it, and is the one I use most of the time. The weights allow you to adjust it a bit whether you like a lighter or heavier mouse - not really something you will be changing regularly, but more of an initial setup thing. It's a Logitech mouse, so build quality is great, and I haven't really got anything negative to say about it. The only downside of using a mouse at 5000+ dpi is the issues of using a standard office mouse at work - I resorted to using my old MX518 as my new work mouse :)

I have a G9x and it is a pretty good mouse. It also comes with two grips: one for smaller hands and one that is a little bit wider for larger hands. I use wider grip and it is comfortable. Both Logitech and Razer make good gaming mice. Get what you think will be most comfortable.

Sorry if I come off as ignorant Im not trying to be rude but I would like you to think it thru a little more: Are you really asking us about if we think you should buy it? It's a mouse, if it's uncomfortable in the palm of your hand it don't matter is if got 10.000DPI, a refreshrate of 100.000 calls per sec and have the most amazing paintjob ever done, I would never take a advice of one who dont know what type of hands I have and noone have even bother trying to ask either. The only reccomendation I can give you is to find a store and try a few ones out, personal due to my rather big hands I got a sidewinder and because I like MS mouse/KB's, but without knowing what you feel is comfortable noone really could advice you if it's a good purchase for you to buy a G9. If you want advice on the price however... - yes that seem like a good deal.

I agree with this. You are absolutely right.
