go on google and search for the program "everest". download it and install it then run a analysis. Save the report and attach it to the post and we can find information about your computer!

First, you have to open your case and look for a the pci-e x16 slot. The pci-e x16 slot is on bottom left on your motherboard. It's the second pci-e x16 slot of this picture.

1. download this program CPU-Z
2. click on the Mainboard tab
3. look at the "Graphics Interface"

for instance I have PCI-e x16, you might have AGP or even PCI, all that determine what graphics card you can put,
also what CPU do you have, again using the same program, only the CPU tab

Your computer is a IBM NetVista 8311.

You got an AGP slot.

GPU recommendation

charrr1234

from the reviews on that it sounds like that card is a complete waste of money. are there any other other good cards that can can be plugged into an agp slot. on the back of my pc there was the serial number. do you need that

How old is your computer?

Can you pelase just give us ALL the information that you can find?

From the looks of it, if you have half a gig of ram, i really doubt your computer can be upgraded for 85 bucks...>_>

And what games do you plan on playing?

Just my opinion, but i'd rather just buy a new computer(cheap,if you want) than build THAT up to make it a gaming computer..And if your 13, you better hope your rich(>_>), or you better tell all your relatives you need money instead of gifts during the holidays..Or work, thats a better choice.

you are trying to run Crysis on your computer? you are better off getting a paper route or caddying to try to save up the money. If you can get one of these jobs try to negotiate with your parents after you have saved up some. see if they will go halves with you on a decent system for like a $400 system.

I doubt your computer has the power for a 3850. Just get something like this HD2600. There's no sense spending a lot of money on your computer, it being obsolete by several generations.

Just because it says it in the review, dosen't mean its going to happen.

And you still haevn't awnsered my questions..WHAT GAMES ARE YOU TRYING TO PLAY?

I already told you, your better off geting a new computer. Theres pretty much no way you can get your computer to run anything more than cs with 85 bucks -_-..

THe HD2600 is a decent card, but you shouldnt be gaming unless you have ATLEAST 1gb of ram and I think your CPU will be a bottleneck.
