nope
The community is very small, so I don't think that the modding will get to 2k4 level.
And the modding is the only thing that can save this trainwreck.
You know there's something horribly wrong when a game that sold over a million copies has only a few thousand players.

^^^^ it's hard to get into, it takes skills (and time) to master every maps and weapons.
I'm a huge fan of UT, I've played UT2k4 for 1500 hours. I can safely say that I prefer the feel of UT3 even if I was a defender of the movements from 2k3 and 2k4. UT3 is great, the only major problem is the size of the community... while you can find a game for every mode any given moment of the day/night, it's still limited. I would recommend to download the demo and see if you like it.
I really hope you do get the game and convince other people to buy it, we need fresh blood to squash ;)

Never really played any UT games before huh?? Well, I would say in that case you might want to start off with UT2K4. That's easily the best in the series. Now, I for one liked UT3, but still think it falls short on what it could have and should have been.
