It's a great game that you'll get more than your money's worth out of.

And it's dirt cheap.

WoW is an unusual game, in the fact it isn't necesarily fun, but you keep on playing it until you max out your character. This is when you either have to start playing it constantly (BC Outlands Instances and Rep and crap like that) or quit the game. I've done the latter a few times, and have always been drawn back because of bordeom mostly.

My advice is don't start playing unless you know you have the time to invest as far as endgame goes and you have some self control. Good Luck.

no, it's very time consuming, the graphics are horrible, and it's boring i think, plus unless you can easily find other people on the same quest as you, you'll never get anywhere, just w/e you wanna do not my money/time =/

Go ahead and download the trial, and if you like it, buy the game ($10-$20 depending on where you look) and buy a time card ($30 for 2 months of playtime). WoW should keep you busy for awhile. It did for me. :)

its addictive not so much fun, download the 10 day trial and see how you like it.......graphics aren't fancy but its easy to play and easy to get addicted. imo i played it from launch till mid 06 and decided to quit because in the long run it will eat your money. Try Guild Wars an MMORPG without subscription fees

Short answer: No!

Long answer: No! There's so many games out there which are infinitly better.

Some people like it, others don't. Trial is the best way to go so you can see for yourself. A lot of people rip on the game, but really it is pretty fun.

Should I download the 10 day trail from WOW.com

PimpiNbananas

The real question is, why shouldn't you? It's free after all.

WoW and LOTRO are good ways to start playing MMOs. I mean real MMOs, not that F2P garbage.

It may be a little lonely leveling up, i do not see THAT many lowbies doing instances(grouping) anymore. But the enviorments are awsome, about 50 different areas that look totally different... from a tropical jungle to grassy plains to dead forests to rocky deserts.... Thats what i loved the most about WoW... just exploring
