I'm thinking about running to best buy to see if they have a 560 Ti so i can upgrade my pc for BF3. I currently have a Phenom quad 3.0ghz, 4gb ram, and hd4850. Would i see a big performance increase?

600w psu and a pci ex x16 will work with it as well? Just being cautious.

Also can it handle the 1080p resolution?

The Best Buy prices will probably be jacked up. Can you order online?

You would have only had to wait 3-4 days MAX if you ordered on newegg. For $300 you could have gotten a GTX570. You shouldn't have had to pay more than $250 for a 560ti.

Well i think the 560 ti will do for know. Now that i think about it, it was outragiously foolish of me. I've always bought from newegg cause retailers are overpriced. Is there anyway i can get my PC to recognize the card? The installation disk wont read.

Could you not go online and download drivers from Nvidia?

This is what you should do.

Take the 560Ti back and get a refund.

Buy a 570 on newegg.

Ultra isn't enabled in the beta. Its just high. Ultra is there but nothing changes. You're better off with a 570

The 560ti is a great card but for the amount you paid you should have gotten a 570 instead. I hope that 560ti has at least a great factory overclock for that price...

Restocking fee is like 15% I think, that would be throwing out $45 if he returned it. Not sure if it's worth it unless he could find a good 570 for just $300, otherwise he would pretty much be buying a 570 for $400 if including the restocking fee at Best Buy.

If they try to charge, just talk to the manager.

Go refund your card and get a better one or just buy the same one for cheaper. I only got my 560 Ti because after I sold some software and the mail-in rebate, it was only $150 for the card. It was a great deal, but I plan on getting a better card in the next year or so. Not worth $300 though.

I work at best buy we can return parts as long as they're not damaged and within the return policy. Pci and Pci-e cards are the only parts best buy sells in store.
