Should I play Rome Total War before Medieval Total War ???

I have MTW at home but not RTW and I was wondering if I should start by Rome because it is older than Medieval. If I start by Medieval Total War, will I be disappointed with Rome Total War or they are quite similar ? Give me your opinion please...

There quite similar in gameplay. But the Style is different. I like MTW better myself. There is no story that connects the two so you dont have to play them in any order. Though MTW has slightly better graphics then Rome. So I say, Just play Medieval, you wont be too disapointed in Rome but the graphics you might.

Medieval 2 Total War or Medieval Total War? Because they are two different games. Of the three i recommend the original Medieval Total War though

yeah, all 3 are very good. I played Medieval - Rome- Med2, and it means with medieval 2 you already know the basics of the game. I think for style, Medieval 1 is better than 2... Rome is pretty good too, style wise.

Play Rome first. Then you can really see what a piece of crap M2:TW really is.

Yea, I like RTW better, but it's perhaps I like antique times more,in terms of gameplay, they are quite similar, but MTW2 has slightly better graphics.
